What Have I learned During the Pandemic by Debbie Norrell

The thing that stands out during this time is I don’t miss working. Yes, that’s right I don’t miss getting up every day and going to that job. But I do miss getting dressed each day and I miss putting on makeup. The other day I had to attend a Zoom funeral service and I got dressed and made up and then the group could not even see me. Needless to say, I was disappointed. One of the major things that I have learned during this pandemic is there is a lot to learn on social media. I have begun to follow: Tabitha Brown, Sassy Jones, Malcolm “MJ” Harris, Gillian Garcia Artistry and Razor Chic. Never believe that you are too old to learn something. I have been entertained and inspired by this group that does videos on Facebook. Keep your eyes on Tabitha and Sassy they are about to “blow up.” They have all made me realize I need to step up my social media game like yesterday. Watch for my videos real soon. What I really miss is getting dressed up and going out. Trust and believe I have been going out since March. I go to the grocery store and any place that is open. But putting that mask over a made-up face just puts a damper on the look. However, I wear my mask and have a wide assortment. Just like your favorite shoes I have masks that are my favorites and there are a few that I purchased that I haven’t bother to wear. What I miss most and what I have learned is that I miss my friends and family. I want to take a drive to Michigan, but I think it is best to stay put for a while longer.

Wear your mask, wash your hands.
