Lifestyles with Debbie Norrell | Norrell Lifestyles In My Travels

Like so many others I have not stayed in the house during this past six weeks. I go for walks almost daily and try to see what information I can bring back to the Soul Pitt readers. I have walked around Monroeville Mall and noticed that the Ulta in Monroeville Mall is totally empty and the store sign is covered. I then realized that a new Ulta has opened in Miracle Mile right up the street. I am looking forward to stores opening again but people will need to follow the rules. Wear your mask when in the stores and practice social distancing. During a recent visit to Walmart I noticed so many people without masks and so many were not following the Walmart rules of one way aisles. Many grocery stores have made the aisles like one way streets. They have placed green and red signs on the floor in each aisle. I’m a rule follower and I made sure that I did not “go up the down staircase” so to speak. That brings me to my next topic about “why were people there.” Last week I tuned in to an open phone call presented by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg by the end of the meeting over 51 thousand were in attendance. Zuckerberg gave some updates on new things that are going to happen with Facebook. I found it interesting but others took an opportunity to call the CEO names and complain about censorship on Facebook. Many people expressed their appreciation for Facebook and said to the haters “if you don’t like it don’t use it.” The criticism was amazing. I enjoyed the call and appreciated the information and enjoy using Facebook. Only in America.
