Employment Opportunity | The Executive Director of InVision Behavioral Health

The Executive Director of InVision Behavioral Health (IBH) is a member of InVision Human Services (IHS) Executive Leadership team and is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, budget, and strategic plan of an organization which provides behavioral health services to individuals with dual diagnosis of intellectual disabilities, autism, and mental health diagnoses.

The position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer of InVision Human Services and attends meetings of the IBH Board of Directors and prepares and presents reports for their review and discussion.  The position must have expertise in the area of Outpatient mental health services including working knowledge of credentialing and billing requirements for various systems including Medicare and Medicaid.

Mission and Philosophy

  • In conjunction with the board of directors, IHS COO, and IHS CAO develops the long term strategy for the company
  • Works in collaboration with the corporate quality director to develop and implement a continuous quality management plan for the company

Contractual Compliance and Credentialing

  • Oversees and streamlines the credentialing process to create an efficient system of onboarding new practitioners
  • Ensures routine audits and compliance to various regulatory expectations including but not limited to those established by, DPW, Medicare, Medicaid, VBH, CCBH, Gateway, and various other private insurance companies

Administrative

  • Recruits, selects, orients and provides training to leadership personnel who directly supervise clinical practitioners, regularly reviews their performance and compensation; provides opportunities for professional growth
  • Develops, in conjunction with the IHS COO, a strategy for expansion of service provision as well as new service lines assuring diversity of funding and long-term viability of the company; explores alliances and partnerships as pathways for this expansion

Financial management

  • Develops budgets for submission to the IHS COO and CFO and approval by the Board of Directors; monitors spending, implements controls and other strategies to ensure that revenues and expenditures are within defined limits
  • Reviews and approves financial documents such as payroll, expense forms and petty cash
