2020 has been an incredible year for POISE – full of challenges and successes – and we are contacting you today to help us finish it on a high note.
In addition to our normal grantmaking, in April, we launched the Critical Community Needs Fund (CCNF) that has raised over $1.1 Million so far and pushed out $982,000 in grants to 94 local Black Led Organizations that are serving the most vulnerable members of the Black Community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of our grantees have told us that they might not have been able to survive the difficulties posed by the Coronavirus if it hadn’t been for POISE’s critical and timely support.
In 2021, POISE Foundation will be celebrating its 40th Anniversary. Our mission is to assist the Black Community in achieving self-sustaining practices through strategic leadership, collective giving, grantmaking and advocacy. To continue our work now and for the next 40 years, we need your support. When you give to POISE, you can be assured that your contributions are going directly to support our local Black Community.
