In my working life, I have worked for many companies, and all of them had operating procedures. These procedures were gone over when I was first employed and from time to time during yearly reviews. I would like to see the operating procedures for the highest officials in the White House. I’m sure it is a lengthy document. The portion of the document that I would like to see is what you can take with you when you leave the White House, and you are not expected to come back. Reading that should solve this entire issue with 45. What makes me scratch my head is why someone would want to take all of those boxes from one state to another and stack them in spaces that are used by others. I thought his resort in Florida was a high-end place to be. When I saw the pictures of the boxes, I was shocked. I don’t know if you saw it or not, but there was a video where the boxes were being loaded into a truck at the White House. That should have been the time to say, “Let’s see what you have in these boxes. The former president said he has been very busy and has not had the time to go through the boxes like he wanted to. I left my job in 2019, and I had been there for 19 years. I had a lot of “stuff.” I brought home a few items from my desk thinking that they would be important to me, but they were not and ended up being thrown away. Granted, my job was not as important as that of the President of the United States, but I did have access to some very sensitive information, and I can assure you that if my former management saw me hauling tons of boxes out of the building, there would have been questions then and not now. The powers that be on Pennsylvania Avenue need to pull out their rules and apply them; it’s as simple as that. Quit wasting good TV time on this issue. I’m sick of it.
