If you’re coming Downtown for the 2026 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers are planning a full-on fan takeover.
The team announced a lineup of fan-focused experiences happening during Draft weekend (April 23–25), including interactive exhibits, live programming, retail pop-ups, and sweepstakes opportunities — all anchored by a central fan destination called Steelers Country.
What is Steelers Country?
Steelers Country is described as the official Steelers gathering spot during Draft weekend — a 12,000-square-foot interactive space planned for Point State Park, inside the larger NFL Draft Experience footprint.
The goal: create a place where Steelers fans can connect, celebrate tradition, and enjoy the Draft atmosphere together.
What fans can expect inside
The Steelers say the activation will include experiences such as:
- A themed “Steelers Nation Unite” bar concept inspired by Steelers bars around the world
- A throwback fan cave styled like a classic 1970s Pittsburgh basement
- Large-scale replicas highlighting the franchise’s six Super Bowl rings
- A Terrible Towel-inspired art installation
- Yard games and photo moments
- On-stage programming including Steelers Legends, current player Q&As, and live Draft coverage
Key dates and hours
The Steelers noted a ribbon cutting is planned for April 22, ahead of Draft weekend.
Steelers Country hours (subject to change):
- Thursday, April 23: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Friday, April 24: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday, April 25: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
The team also noted that Steelers Country is free to attend, like the Draft itself.

Beyond Steelers Country, the team also highlighted:
Lombardi Trophy Exhibit: Fans will be able to view all six Steelers Super Bowl trophies on display near Steelers Country at Point State Park.
Draft Day VIP Sweepstakes: Through the Steelers Mobile App (through April 10), fans can enter for a chance at a Draft-week trip package that includes tickets, airfare, and a downtown hotel stay.
Steelers Pro Shop access: Steelers merchandise will be available through multiple retail options, including a merch trailer within the Steelers Country footprint — plus a temporary Pro Shop at 275 North Shore Drive with Draft gear and a special-edition Terrible Towel.
