CVS Health’s Project Health will offer an array of free health assessment screenings, professional consultations, and educational materials during multiple on-site events in Pittsburgh during the first weeks in November and December 2021.
Project Health is a key initiative of CVS Health’s continued commitment to improve access to health care and ensure that cost isn’t a barrier to important preventive services. This free community outreach program will offer comprehensive health assessment screenings, including Body Mass Index (BMI), blood pressure, glucose and total cholesterol screenings, which can help detect risk for chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. The screening events also feature further information on weight management, diabetes resources, and smoking cessation programs.
The Project Health Mobile RV will conduct screenings in the parking area at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 2001 Wylie Avenue, Hill District, 15219 on the following dates:
Friday November 5, Saturday November 6, Sunday November 7
