Here we are in 2025, all I can say is wow. How do we slow this down a bit? Just this morning I was scheduling events for July of 2025. We are halfway through the month, and I suspect this year will go as fast as last year. So how do we slow it down? My best thought is to enjoy and savor each moment. Make plans for special days, wear your favorite outfits, do the things that you really enjoy and take care of yourself. Make your doctor’s appointments and don’t skip them. If you do have to skip reschedule. Sometimes you get in a rut and cancel an appointment and then forget to reschedule. I have one doctor’s appointment that is not very pleasant and I canceled my last appointment and have yet to reschedule. I need to get on the phone asap. I’m trying to start the year off correctly. If you have any big celebrations this year you should get started on the plans right away. Before you know it the first quarter of the year will be over, and you will be in rush mode. That is so uncomfortable, rushing around trying to get things done when it could have been done early. You think you have so much time but time flies when you are older. I stopped in the store the other day and the Easter decorations were up. I said to myself, “is Easter just around the corner? I was still trying to buy the mark downs from Christmas. I have yet to put up my Valentine wreath. This feels like part two of the last column. In short ladies and gents enjoy your life, take care of yourself and be grateful for what you have and if you are so inclined pray for those who have lost their homes in California. Our lives can change in the blink of an eye.
