Description –
Working under the direction of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and within the School of Social Work Student Services Center, the incumbent will facilitate and manage all aspects of the student registration process and coordinate all aspects of course scheduling and student record keeping. The incumbent will also serve as the primary point person for the development and maintenance of academic record management, in adherence to University policies related to record retention. Within this role, the incumbent will serve as a representative of the School, serving as a resource and provide services and support to current students, former students, and faculty. Lastly, the incumbent will support the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, supporting special projects and completing other duties as assigned. Extensive knowledge of University and School policies and procedures as they relate to student services is required. Knowledge of PeopleSoft is preferred. This position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and independent problem-solving skills. EEOC.
Qualifications –
Knowledge of University policies and procedures as they relate to student services, registration, graduation, class scheduling and grades. Experience or education with records management. Master degree in library science, data management, higher education administration, or other related field is preferred.
