We are extremely pleased to announce our national entertainment lineup for the upcoming 2025 Western PA (WPA) Juneteenth Festival, while celebrating our 12th year of activities, on June 19–22 at Mellon Stray Park, 15206.
We now hold the largest Juneteenth Celebration in Pennsylvania.
Our Juneteenth Concert Series is a FREE outdoor event open to the public.
THURSDAY, JUNE 19TH
2 PM
On June 19th, we will kick off with a special Juneteenth Opening Ceremony from 2 PM–3 PM with speakers and Juneteenth acknowledgements, which includes greetings from Democratic Mayoral Candidate Corey O’Connor, who is seeking to become the Mayor of Pittsburgh.
5 PM
Join us for a special performance by the internationally acclaimed Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra as it previews its upcoming “Kings of Soul” concert series (June 20–22 in Downtown Pittsburgh) with an exclusive Juneteenth performance — Main Stage area.
7 PM
Get ready for R&B sensation Group 702, a 90s-era all-female soul band.
8 PM
Join us for a performance by one of the 80s and 90s iconic soul and R&B groups of all time — MORRIS DAY & THE TIME.
