Where is the UNITY? (Sep 30)
“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” John 17:21.
Jesus said to His Father in heaven, that He wishes they would be one, as You and I are one. Meaning, we as the body of Christ should be on one accord. There should not be any division, strife, malevolent, hatred, jealousy, bitterness towards anyone brother or sister in the Lord. However, this is not the situation that I have observed in the churches. If we are all worshipping and serving one God, one Son (Jesus Christ) and one Holy Spirit, why is there division?
I have witnessed that the Baptist denomination does not want to fellowship with the Pentecostal, the Methodist does not want to fellowship with the Presbyterian and so on and so forth, which is absolutely insane! When those of us who are in Christ go to sleep, when we get to heaven there is not going to be a separate wing for the Catholics, Episcopals, etc., but we are all going to be rejoicing and serving God almighty.
Understand that division is simply the works of satan because he knows that the moment we collectively come together as one body doing the work of the Lord, we will be able to do much demand to his kingdom. Miracles will begin to manifest, the miracles that Jesus spoke about, that He said we can do. We will see the blinded eyes open, we will see the dead quickened back to life, the lame will walk and the deaf hearing. Jesus said GREATER works shall you do, because we now have the Holy Ghost who does the work through us to the glory of God.
In the book of Acts chapter 2:1, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.” They were all filled with the Holy Ghost because there was UNITY, ONENESS, one mindset to do the work of the Lord. Had they been there fighting and arguing with one another, they would have completely missed the Gift.
Please hear me church, there is much work to do, the harvest is ripe, but the labourers are few! It is time to come together and do the bidding of the Lord. We are truly living in the last and evils days; I ask you, on judgment day would you want to stand before God and tell Him, “I didn’t do such and such because Sister Suzie or Brother Bowie didn’t like me.” Remember my brothers and sisters, it’s not about you, but it is about doing the will of the Lord.
IT’S TIME TO MAKE A CHANGE AND COME TOGETHER AS ONE BODY IN CHRIST!

Where there is no unity there is no power. The largest spirit at work in the church is the spirit of division. Jesus said ” a house divided against itself can not stand “. The enemy knows this, and is using it against us quite well. The thing that is very ironic is the fact that we know this and continue to walk in it. It has been expressed to us in both the old testament and new to be one, but we persist in maintaining division knowing we are going against the word. Scripture mentions ” if we know to do it and don’t it we are in sin”. This is why 2nd Chron. is not working, we have been praying for a long time, but we have not turned from our wicked ways. Many of our leaders are blind to the real heart of God with their own personal agenda.
I would be dumb as the mule that jumped in the river to get out of the rain, becaused he didn’t want to get wet, if I didn’t agree with Bro. Don’s observation. I’ve come to realize two very important truths in my life; (1) There is a God! and (2) I am not Him!!!(smile) We can point the way to the power and promises of God, walk with those claiming to desire them or work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Bro. Don, peak the 3rd option, and be about our Father business.
