POSITION:       Financial Analyst

Reports to:      VP, Finance

Location:         Pittsburgh-North Shore

General Statement of Duties: Responsible for overseeing recording and reconciliation of monthly activity in general ledgers and preparing draft financial statements, specialty analyses and reports.

Essential Functions:

• Analyze budget vs actual fluctuations;
• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations;
• Perform monthly subsidiary ledger system closing procedures;
• Prepare and post journal entries;
• Assist in the annual budget process;
• Support the year-end audit activities with external auditors;
• Payroll processing experience a plus;

Minimum: bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 5 years of accounting experience required; experience in non-profit accounting and SAGE/MIP software a plus; must have strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy; clearances required; EOE
