“Whether it’s in a training workshop, one-on-one coaching or during an action-oriented strategy session, clients will leave with the necessary tools and insight needed to address specific issues and can expect to be inspired and re-energized.” Structured Strategies works to help teams and frontline leaders (directors, managers, supervisors and small business owners) organize the noise and infuse a culture of growth, effective communication, and accountability.
Kesi Howard, CEO and founder of Structured Strategies says “watching the fruits of my labor come to life is both exhilarating and scary. Freedom to grow and concentrate on things that bring me professional happiness excites me because we often exist in the workplace based on how others tell us to exist. It is so satisfying to have the freedom to exist in a way that feeds my soul and closes loops in how businesses coexist with employees, customers, and communities.”
Structured Strategies provides professional, management training, and administrative management consulting services to for-profit and non-profit establishments. “We thrive to help you, your business and employees grow. Through organizational development Structured Strategies works to bridge gaps and improve customer relations and employee engagement across job families. Services offered prompt new perspectives and inspire positive change that helps businesses improve upon processes, communication, and mid-management practices for financial growth and sustainability.”
Kesi’s innate talents, past experiences and observations of workplace issues helped her realize her area of focus. “Services I provide through Structured Strategies came to me in graduate school. I understood that my skills were not industry specific but more specific to workplace issues experienced by professionals in every industry.”
Reflecting on her past, actively listening to plights and frustrations of working professionals to make sure her skills and interest could be of service in today’s business world, Kesi found that inadequate leadership/training, ineffective communication, and personality conflicts continues to be a force driving a wedge between managers, teams, and customers. “What’s new is our inability to disconnect and recharge (setting boundaries). I knew that the best way that I could serve a workforce that feels ill-prepared and overwhelmed is to just give them the tools and a platform that allow them to enhance their skills and increase their confidence.”
My driving force is my desire to make a positive impact in businesses and the professionals that work for them. The biggest challenge has been getting my business/services in front of decision makers willing to make the financial commitment and take the necessary time to support and develop the very people entrusted to bring their visions/plans alive.
Structured Strategies is endorsed by the Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council (EMSDC) and the Minority Business enterprise (MBE). Kesi is on a mission to establish a steady stream of clients (businesses or individuals) committed to overcoming workplace issues.
