Elnora Fortson took her place in Heaven on Tuesday, July 9, 2013<\/strong> and her family celebrated her life on Earth with a memorial service on Saturday, July 13th.\u00a0 Here is a poem written by Elnora.<\/p>\n

TO WIN LIFE\u2019S RACE<\/strong>
\nSlower is better, so pace each race.
\nRemember, haste oft brings waste.
\nHasty decision=poor choice.
\nEach step has its own voice.<\/p>\n

Battle’s aren’t won just by the strong,
\nNor victories just to those who long.
\nRaces aren’t just for the swift,
\nBut to all who cherish its gift.
\n…
\nWe must mark time at the starting line
\nFinish\/end in our own time.
\nCherish this wisdom of God’s grace.
\nSlower is better. You will win each race.<\/p>\n
