On February 28, at the Kamin Science Center a 52-minute documentary debuted. This immersive film explores the storied football tradition of Western Pennsylvania. The film celebrates the Pittsburgh region\u2019s football heritage, from youth and high school programs to the college and professional ranks. The film features a conversation between former Pittsburgh Steelers Jerome Bettis and Bill Cowher, Bettis said it must be \u201csomething in the water\u201d<\/em> that turns out so many football greats from this region. When it comes to the Pittsburgh area the football stories are endless. The history of Pop Warner, the birthplace of college football broadcasting, the 1972 Franco Harris story, the Terrible Towel and so much more. The Football Town<\/em><\/strong> also features appearances by Steeler legends Joey Porter Sr., James Harrison and others. From Aliquippa to Homewood and from Peters Township to Steel Valley, high school and youth teams from across the region are featured in this one-of-a-kind film. The film was produced by NFL Films and will be available to the general public to view exclusively at Kamin Science Centers Rangos Giant Cinema. The film will run for two months at the Science Center<\/strong> and marks the first major local activation in the lead up to the 2026 NFL Draft. Tickets are $10.
