So, if you are planning to spend time relaxing at the pool side, beaching it or opening your sunroof or dropping that drop please make sure you buy good sunscreen and why not put on a sun hat. The last time I spent a good amount of time in the sun was when I was in Las Vegas in August. You know that it is one of the hottest months in Vegas. I loaded up on sunscreen and used it daily. I didn\u2019t spend much time at the pool, but I was outside quite a bit during the day. The last thing I wanted was to ruin my trip by getting burned. According to Verywell Health sunblock and sunscreen are two different types of sun protection that work in different ways. Sunscreen is a chemical blocker that filters the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays, while sunblock (a term used to describe physical blockers) reflects the sun’s rays away from the skin.<\/p>\n

Both forms are effective at protecting the skin from sunburn and preventing UV skin damage, but the ingredients are different. Sunscreen formulas often include fragrances, insect repellent, or other chemicals. Sunblocks often use ingredients that deliver thicker coverage on the skin.<\/p>\n

Sunscreen and sunblock are both excellent forms of sun protection. The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) doesn’t advise using one over the other. The AAD does recommend that you choose one that offers:<\/p>\n
