\u201cI\u2019m blessed\u201d is a phrase that we often hear and many times when someone says it, they are talking about being financially blessed. Being blessed with an abundance of cash is a wonderful thing, but there are so many other things to consider as a blessing. Having a roof over your head and food to eat is a blessing. Good health is a blessing, and for me, that is at the top of my list. In the past few years, I have lost several close friends who were not well when they passed away. As I get older, I concentrate on taking care of my health and finances. I listen to my doctors and try to stay healthy. Please listen to your doctors. Better yet schedule an annual visit or a visit as often as your doctor suggests. One of my doctors recently told me that he wants to see me more frequently I didn\u2019t balk at his suggestion I pulled out my calendar and made the appointment. To me being healthy is wealth. Even at my advanced age if I am in good health if needed, I can still work part-time to increase my cash flow and enjoy my life. Cut back on unhealthy food. I cut back on potato chips, processed food, and ice cream. It has really made a difference. I was having so much trouble trying to lose a few pounds that as soon as I changed my eating habits, the scale started to move. I thought the scale was broken. So, when you are counting your blessings don\u2019t start with the cash start with your health, the roof over your head, fresh food in the refrigerator being able to worship as you like and if you like or not. When I watch the news and see people suffering in other countries, I realize that my blessings are enormous.<\/p>\n
