Back in my working days (day job) I was a client trainer. I worked for US Bank, and I trained other financial institutions on how to use products that related to the debit card industry. It was a great job. One of the products that I trained on involved a reporting tool and it was also my job to create promotions for the product and the class. The last class that I did before retirement was called \u201cthere is a report for that.\u201d That class title came to mind when I was thinking about this column. Recently Facebook has begun to suggest that I join groups that they think I would be interested in and yes, I knew that there are millions of Facebook groups but to see them is mind-blowing. I just joined a group that is centered around de-cluttering your home. It is a great support group and I\u2019m glad I joined. I am also a member of several groups that revolve around thrift shopping (my hoppy) and reselling (my business). Since I am a member of these groups Facebook seems to think that if she is a member of that group, she should like this group as well. There are groups for people who like to shop at Aldi\u2019s, people with tattoos, people with grey hair and there are groups for those who own a certain type of dog. These groups can be very helpful, it\u2019s like a support group in many cases. You can connect with someone who understands what you might be going through and often members of the group can offer suggestions on how to solve problems. I recently (after Christmas) bought a beautiful red Christmas tree at Kohl\u2019s. It was a former display tree and Kohl\u2019s is changing their displays at some of their stories across the country. The news spread like wildfire within one of my decorating groups. I saw the post and stopped into my local Kohl\u2019s to see if there was any truth to the rumor. I got one of the coveted red trees that is 6 feet tall and fully decorated for $8. So, what\u2019s your passion? Food, decorating, fast cars? Trust and believe there is a Facebook group for that.<\/p>\n
