Recently I was watching the news and the story line of this particular news story was eviction. You know that thing that happens when you don\u2019t pay your rent or mortgage. The family that was being interviewed seemed to be in good health as a matter of fact they seemed to be able-bodied as well as their 2 large dogs that looked to be Pitt Bulls. You know those dogs eat a lot. They were concerned that they were going to be evicted from their rental. I always use myself as an example in these kinds of stories or any story really, what would I do. I remember a time when times were hard, I was working every day, but I had spent too much money on my credit cards and ends were not meeting. I went and found two part-time jobs to make sure my ends met each month. There was no way \u201cthe man\u201d was going to come and tow away my car or put me out of my house. I can\u2019t quite understand what is going on in our world. I understand about the effects of the pandemic but that cannot be the excuse forever. I see signs where people are hiring and offering signing bonuses. If I was getting put out of my house I would go and get two or three of those jobs and keep a roof over my head. Also, I would politely take the four-legged friends to the pound and say I cannot afford these animals. I talked to a lady the other day; she works at a local Subway. She was working all by herself and she said they could not get any help. She also told me how many people call and pretend to apply for a job so they can put it on their unemployment report, but they really don\u2019t want the job. Just a word to the wise, unemployment does not go on forever. You will have to go back to work and pay your own bills. This free money and exceptions on paying rent and mortgages is about to come to an end. And by the way, winter is just around the corner.<\/p>\n
