If you see me in the Giant Eagle in a ball gown with full makeup, it\u2019s because I am celebrating that Giant Eagle is one of the places that is allowing those who are fully vaccinated to come in without a mask. I didn\u2019t know it would feel this good. I never got used to wearing a mask, but I tolerated it and for the most part, I am a rule follower. If you say wear a mask so I can come into your business that is what I will do. Some stores are gently shedding the \u201cno mask no entry\u201d policy. If you look closely the signs on the door have disappeared and the people behind the counter are no longer wearing a mask. You still may get the side-eye from other customers in the store and if someone decides to go crazy, I am always prepared with a mask in my purse. I believe one of the keys to staying well is washing your hands with soap and water often and especially as soon as you come home from spending time with others. Please wash your hands completely: not just one hand or the tips of your fingers and use warm to hot water. The other tip is to not touch your face, that is hard, but try and remember not to touch your eyes, nose, and mouth especially after you have touched someone else. What I can\u2019t understand is the people who are getting on airplanes and don\u2019t want to put their masks on. Did you hear about the woman who broke the flight attendants\u2019 nose and her teeth? She did not want to put up her tray table and put on her seatbelt, I\u2019m not sure if wearing a mask was involved but the wearing of a mask has been the center of hundreds of incidents on planes and inside stores and restaurants.\u00a0\u00a0Let\u2019s follow the rules people, get your vaccines, wash your hands, wear masks where required, and let\u2019s enjoy our summer.<\/p>\n
