This position will be working a minimum of 40 hours\/week. The Special Events Coordinator will work daylight hours during the week. Sundays are a required work day. Some evenings and Saturdays may also be required.<\/p>\n<p>***MCOP offers a competitive, comprehensive healthcare benefits package.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the planning and execution of components related to each Sunday experience.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts an intake and provides recommendations, best practices, clear action items, and available resources at the onset of an approved ministry events.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in preparing a marketing package for events and works with the graphics department to ensure timely execution of each marketing component.<\/li>\n<li>Researches offsite venues as applicable and serves as point of contact for off-campus venues.<\/li>\n<li>Engage community partners to collaborate on special events.<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred in hospitality, communications, public relations, or other related field.<\/li>\n<li>1-3 years minimum of related experience.<\/li>\n<li>Combination of education and experience will be considered.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to meet deadline and possess strong attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.<\/li>\n<li>Good verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/macedoniapgh.bamboohr.com\/jobs\/view.php?id=11\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Special Events Coordinator Special Events \u00b7 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Macedonia Church of Pittsburgh (MCOP) aims to serve our members, the community, and those in need through discipleship and targeted efforts.
