I would like to a send a shout out and positive affirmation for brother Roland Ford who absolutely knows how to party and get a party started. I located Mr Ford through Soul Pitt (DJ Category) and unbeknownst to me he had an established history in this city. The occasion was my mother’s 70th Birthday party and we wanted her to have a day to remember…and she will along with all of her guests. Roland easily made this one of the best parties ever attended by many of our guests with his easy method of instructing line dance and great selection of music. I’d have to say that if you are looking for a party starter, look no further than Roland Ford, he knows what he is doing! Kudos Roland and a big Thank You, you made us look good!

Blessed and recently married on Saturday, 8/7/2010, Paul and I (Audrey) Strothers had the honor of having Roland Ford as our DJ and choreographer at our wedding reception. Bringing professionalism along with soul, DJ Roland Ford played a variety of music providing elegance, class, culture and polish for our special day. Capturing the evening, DJ Roland choreographed our 1st dance to a ballroom twist accompanied by the bridal party. It was truly a “WOW” moment for our family and friends to enjoy and see!! Dancing with sophistication, Paul and I moved lovely to the Christian single released in 2009, “Close to You” by Cece and BeBe Winan. Hopefully coming soon, DJ Roland Ford will feature our 1st dance on YouTube for the world to see!!!! THANKS, DJ Roland Ford for giving us a memorable moment at our wedding reception. Much appreciated with LOVE!!!!!!!!! It was truly “A ROYAL LOVE” celebration!!!!!!

Roland Ford performed at the “Russell’s Family Reunion” June 23 & 24, 2011. Roland was very patient, funny, friendly and very professional. My family has been texting me asking me to have Roland to come to our family reunion in North Carolina next year. I have used Roland a couple of times, but this time it was even more dear to my heart to make this a memorable event and he did the good thang. I really appreciate his promptness and awareness of the crowd. He is indeed a diamond and a treasurer for anyone who wants something different, it is always fun and full of excitement. We the Russell Family “Loves Him!” We will always use him for the unexpected.
On July 17, 2011, Roland provided DJ services for the retirement celebration that honored my mother’s 35 years of service to the Dept of Public Welfare. It’s not often that you get to participate in such a momentous occasion, let alone to have the honor of planning something of this nature, so every detail needed to be perfect. From start to finish, the music captured the sentiment of the day and of each moment throughout the party. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to learn the steps to the line dances and his easy-going professionalism. Most of all, my mom truly enjoyed her evening and danced, danced, danced (which was a feat, as she had just recovered from foot surgery)! I highly recommend his services and am grateful to him for providing the score for a celebration that we will never forget!
September 8, 2012 was a terrible day in Pittsburgh weather wise, but after the clouds and rain disappeared the part y got started with Roland’s DJ and dance instruction services. He was the entertainment extraordinaire for our 10th Annual Community Appreciation Day, Hosted by State Representative Jake Wheatley. He kept the crowd both excited and entertained, he had gotten everyone out of their chairs and on to the dance floor. I highly recommend his services and look forward to using his services at our event next year
Mr. Roland Ford is awesome! He knows exactly how to connect with people of all ages, including children! He came to the Schenley Heights Summer Enrichment Program and taught line dances to students in 1st-7th grade. He led three classes, making sure to adapt the steps so each group could actively participate without the dance being too complex for the younger students. All of the students truly enjoyed learning new line dances, and 5-7th grade students had an unforgettable time being able to show him their best dance moves! Mr. Roland then incorporated the students’ moves into the line dance while they danced to one of their favorite songs! His enthusiasm and choreographic skills are second to none! I’ve seen him at many venues from the park to the schools and he is fantastic as he gets everyone involved in fun, dance and exercise! Thank you Mr. Ford for a great time!
