A DREAM DEFERRED, A JOY ACHIEVED: Stories of Struggle and Triumph Edited by Charisse Nesbit Foster Care anthology “A Dream Deferred a Joy Achieved: Stories of Struggle and Triumph,” is currently seeking submissions. Stories should be true first-hand foster care experiences, preferably with a positive outcome. Even if your time spent in the system wasn’t ideal, we’d like to hear about how it shaped you as a person and caused you to overcome and triumph in life.
