Unwrapped features unique entertainment, original local artwork, and live and silent auctions. The evening will showcase the city's young talent from Pittsburgh's CAPA (Creative and Performing Arts) High School and DWG dance troupe;
Unwrapped will be emceed by Andrew Stockey, Morning Anchor for WTAE Channel 4 Action News. The live and silent auctions will include gift certificates from local businesses, entertainment packages, a celebrity hosted dinner, and a custom fitted bicycle. Food for the distinctive evening will be provided by the Union Project's Eat UP Café and Catering, and will include an assortment of gourmet finger foods.
The Unwrapped silent auction will feature health and beauty products, dining packages, and gifts from local businesses. The live auction will feature:
- Trek SU100 8 speed, drive train, and aluminum frame bicycle donated by Trek of Pittsburgh
- Custom made dinnerware service for six, designed by Ceramics@UP
- Dinner for four with actor and Pittsburgh Native/Community Activist David Conrad of Ghost Whisperer at his Pittsburgh home
- Professionally catered preset four course meal at your home, by chef Kate Romane of Eat UP for 8-10 people
- Two Weekend stays (auctioned separately) at a two bedroom condo at Nemocolin Woodlands
The fundraising auction will be held in conjunction with entertainment by top tier CAPA students performing excerpts from How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and DWG, a young Pittsburgh-based dance troupe performing modern urban dance.
Tickets for Unwrapped are available for purchase
in advance for $35 or at the door for $45.
Tickets also include hearty hors d'oeuvres, desserts,
and a wine, beer chocolate martini bar.
