The Manchester Youth Development Center (MYDC) recognized community leaders from the Manchester and greater Pittsburgh communities, who embody the MYDC mission to reach, teach and empower youth. The awards were presented in three categories \u2013 community, education and business during a gala in the Rivers Casino ballroom on Saturday, May 19, 2012<\/strong>. \u00a0The awards are named in honor of MYDC founders, Reverend Dr. James and Dr. Betty Robinson.<\/p>\n The 2012 Robinson winners for contributions to the community were The Honorable Judge Joseph K. Williams, III, Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas and Dr. Angela F. Ford, Executive Director, University of Pittsburgh Center for Health Equity. \u00a0For contributions in the field of education, the winners were Patricia Lee Washington, PhD, Retired Principal, Pittsburgh Public Schools and Charles E.
