Local Poet - Kennethh Coleman

MEET Kenneth Coleman

Kenneth has been a free lance writer for twenty years.  Recently he has finished his first book, a graphic novel.  He’s presently working on a comic series based on this novel.  As details become more clear, he will gladly send them along to the SP readers. Right now he has a tentatively schedule art show at the Future Tenant  Gallery at 801 Liberty Ave on Sept 29th. The Kosmic Messenger Montage depicts a superhero of color fighting for what counts.

Cavernous Rumble

By Kenneth L. Campbell

Layers upon layers of unending fire.

Permit me my friends to answer your songs.

Curtains between curtains, shielding the nets.

Sun's coming through in the windows of time.

You've given me succor and taken the reins,

blood dripping through on the sheets of despair.

Over and over I've tried to impregnate,

seems it just can't be done till my day passes down.

Concrete and mortar, sugar and sand.

A man's had divisions, revisions and pain.

Revulting, revolting, reviving, revenge.

All of the works of my ivory home.
